Published author launches a broader institutional outreach effort to connect qualified organizations with books for participant, educational, and program use.

Seattle Washington, DC – 8 October, 2026 – Published author Babette Wilson is expanding her author business through a new direct outreach initiative focused on recovery organizations, treatment centers, survivor-support programs, financial empowerment organizations, and other institutions serving individuals and families.

The initiative marks a broader move into institutional book outreach, giving qualified organizations a direct way to explore books for participant distribution, workshops, educational programming, alumni initiatives, support services, and other organized uses.

Rather than relying only on traditional retail discovery, Wilson’s Author Relations team is now conducting targeted outreach to organizations whose work aligns with subjects addressed in her books.

“The goal is to create more direct connections between the books and organizations that can use them in meaningful ways,” Wilson said. “Institutional outreach allows us to move beyond waiting for someone to discover a title individually and begin conversations with organizations already doing important work in these areas.”

A More Direct Approach to Institutional Relationships

Wilson’s team is identifying qualified organizations and opening conversations around potential quantity purchases, participant copies, educational use, workshops, alumni programs, and other institutional needs.

The current outreach centers on Quiet Suffering: The Tangled Web of a Functional Addict and Breaking the Cycle: Understanding and Escaping Financial Abuse.

The larger objective is to create ongoing institutional relationships with organizations whose programs may benefit from Wilson’s work.

Moving Beyond Traditional Book Promotion

The expansion represents a more focused business-development strategy.

Treatment organizations, recovery programs, survivor-support organizations, financial empowerment programs, nonprofits, and educational initiatives may require books in quantities or formats that differ from ordinary individual retail purchases.

Qualified organizations can communicate with Wilson’s Author Relations representative about quantity needs, formats, program use, fulfillment considerations, and purchasing requirements.

“This is not about sending books everywhere and hoping something happens,” Wilson said. “It is about identifying organizations where there is a genuine connection and creating a professional pathway for those organizations to work with us directly.”

Expanding the Author Business

Her books remain available through established retail and distribution channels, while the institutional program adds a separate avenue focused specifically on organizational relationships and larger-volume use.

“Readers will always be important, but there are also organizations working every day with people who may connect with these subjects,” Wilson said. “Reaching those organizations directly creates opportunities that traditional book promotion alone cannot.”
